New Year’s Resolution
What’s your New Year’s resolution ? Do you have one ? And if so, did you accomplish everything you set out to do ?
My past year’s accomplishments
This past year, I was fortunate to return to work for Volkswagen on a part time basis, while I continued my online studies. I also challenged myself by setting a reading goal. I set an annual goal of 12 books, one for each month. Plus I maintained a steady gym routine and bike to and from work year-round. Above all, we even made time to travel!
We visited parts of Canada we’ve never seen before (Newfoundland to be precise) and just recently visited Portugal ! Feel free to stay in touch with our travel recommendations at Discovering Destinations 🙂
Set manageable goals
This year, set yourself manageable goals and accept responsibility in accomplishing them. If you’re not sure where to set the bar, start lower so that you keep yourself motivated. I had no clue how many books I could read in one year, which is why 12 sounded feasible. In the end, I racked up 15 in total !
Here are some of the books I’ve read this year
If reading is your thing, look up Goodreads. You can go ahead and check all the books you’ve already read, and in turn their algorithm will recommend you new books you might like. In my spare time I research new books and add them to the list. It serves me well by keeping track of books on my virtual bookshelf.

Most notably, the Car Show will be making its way to Montreal in the second half of January. We’re expecting a promotion and should receive details in the coming weeks. For those of you who are in the market for a new car, please keep me in mind or tag a friend 🙂

Coming up – Ideas for 2020
As mentioned in one of my previous blogs, I look forward to communicating more in 2020. I plan to use my blog to share information about promotions and vehicle knowledge. Here are some ideas I plan to execute:

- Launch a referral program
- A better study schedule to accelerate the acquisition of my degree
